Dame Phyllida Barlow
Dame Phyllida Barlow is a British sculptor and installation artist. She is known for her large-scale, abstract sculptures made from everyday materials such as wood, cardboard, and fabric. Barlow has been creating art since the 1960s and has exhibited her work in galleries and museums around the world. She is a professor emeritus at the Slade School of Fine Art in London and has been awarded numerous honors, most notably representing Great Britain at the Venice Biennale 2017. Barlow became a Royal Academician in 201 and Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to art.
